By supplying text, images and other data to AK for inclusion in the customer's website or other medium, the customer declares that it holds the appropriate copyright and/or trademark permissions. The ownership of such materials will remain with the customer, or rightful copyright or trademark owner. Any artwork, images, or text supplied and/or designed by AK on behalf of the customer, will remain the property of AK and/or its suppliers. The customer may request in writing from AK, the necessary permission to use materials (for which AK holds the copyright) in forms other than for which it was originally supplied, and AK may, at its discretion, grant this. Such permission must be obtained in writing before it will allow any of the aforesaid artwork, images, text, or other data to be used. By supplying images, text, or any other data to AK, the customer grants AK permission to use this material freely in the pursuit of the design. Should AK, or the customer supply an image, text, audio clip or any other file for use in a website, multimedia presentation, print item, exhibition, advertisement or any other medium believing it to be copyright and royalty free, which subsequently emerges to have such copyright or royalty usage limitations, the customer will agree to allow AK to remove and/or replace the file on the site. The customer agrees to fully indemnify and hold AK free from harm in any and all claims resulting from the customer in not having obtained all the required copyright, and/or any other necessary permissions.

Rankings will also vary as new sites are added. AK recommend that customers use a professional SEO company and are happy to provide details of such companies, but accept no responsibility for their services.

Artwork Details
You have already received a copy of our artwork guidelines. You agree that you have read and understood them and that the artwork supplied is in accordance with these guidelines. If you need any help just contact us. If the artwork files are not print ready and therefore do not match our guidelines we will try to recreate the artworks free of charge, or there may be a small charge. Artwork files that are not as per our guidelines may still be printed, but the quality of the print may be lower than we would like. You accept full responsibility and confirm you have either provided print ready files, discussed this with us prior to payment, or are happy to pay a small charge, and also confirm that we will not be held responsible for sub quality print finishes that are caused as a result to sub quality non print ready artwork files. You must state specific print sizes if required. Failure to do so will mean we will use our expertise, or print according to size limitations. You must state Pantone Colour Specific References if they apply. Failure to do so will mean we will use our expertise to Best match on screen colours.
Artwork Disclaimer
We will print the artwork you supply us. When uploading or emailing us any artwork you give AK, full consent to print the artwork or designs. You confirm that the artwork is yours to use, and/or free from copyright infringement. You accept full responsibility in the event of any copyright infringement, and will fully indemnify AK. Use of your Artwork & Visual
As part of our service we create Visual Mock Up’s of your printed or embroidered clothing to help you see how the finished products will look, for your approval prior to printing or embroidering. We may use these visual mock ups, that will include your logos and artworks, and add this content to our blog site as case studies. Unless otherwise requested you agree to our use of the artwork visual mock up’s on our case studies blog pages.
Returns Policy
It is your responsibility to check the visual proof thoroughly to ensure you are happy with the design layout and ensure there are no spelling or grammatical errors, and that colours and print sizes are accurate. We will print as close to the visual layout as we can, so please ensure you check it properly. If you do not state specific print sizes or colour references we will use our experience to complete the order and you will accept this in full. Please note that sometimes the visual display on screen of the design or garment colour may differ slightly to the finished colours on the garments. If the printed products are not as per the visual layout, or if there are any faults with the printing material or the garments, we will offer a full reprint without question. If our reprint or re-embroidery isn’t acceptable we can offer a full or partial refund depending on the nature of your specific circumstances and order. Full refunds are only applicable if we have been given the opportunity to resolve a problem with an order. Embroidery orders are subject to a 25-35% design variance from swatch approval to finished garments due to the variation is garment materials. If the matter is beyond the obvious we may require the garments to be sent back to our print managers or the garment wholesaler for review. In the event of garments being sent back to wholesalers for official reviews their decisions are final, but we will always try to assist and offer you what you need to ensure you are satisfied.
PLEASE NOTE – you must inform us within 12 hours of delivery by email, telephone or Contact Us page. AK will not accept returns without prior agreement. You must advise us what the problem is, and you must also submit photographs to evidence the problem or your complaint. When clients have problems with orders we go to the end of the world to remedy and try to make you happy. Please note, if discounts are given, they are valid for 3 months from the date of the email/offer. In the event of returned items, the customer is liable for the cost of returning all goods. If you order samples for sizing and testing purposes, unless agreed otherwise in advance, you will be charged a 25% re-stocking charge and all the costs of delivery/return/collection if you do not wish to keep the samples.
Direct To Garment Printing – Variance & White Underlay Condition
DTG printing is a relatively new technology and also it is dependant on ‘computer controlled output’. Artwork files are checked by our print managers for quality purposes, but ultimately a computer machine reads these colours and translates these colours into ink that gets jetted direct into the fabric. (Screen Printing can match exact pantone colours and is controlled by the human eye, as such is ‘human controlled’, not computer controlled). DTG output is therefore subject to variance. This means when printing the same design several times it may not appear as sharp on one garment as another. Additionally it may appear different one one garment to another garment due to colours and materials reacting differently to the inks. Sometimes small speckles of white underlay ink can be seen on dark garments too, this is most often due to sub quality artwork which we do our Best to avoid. You accept the above information and accept a 10% variance & white underlay condition.
Cancellations
Cancellations may be subject to a charge due to the fact that we may have already ordered stock, prepared artwork or re-organised production of other jobs. Please note a minimum charge of 25% will stand. This is a restocking charge we get charged by our wholesalers. When paying for any order, you accept these terms and charges.
Online Ordering – Sizes & Colours
Please note, we order blank clothing, garments and products from wholesale distributors, and then customise these items with printing and embroidery for our clients. All sizes and colours shown online on the catalogues are not under our control, and we cannot be held responsible for colour variations from on screen colours to real product colours, nor can we be held responsible for sizing issues. You order the sizes and colours you require at your own risk. We highly recommend ordering samples to ensure these problems are not encountered.
Complaints Procedure
We take complaints very seriously and are very unhappy is this happens. If you wish to make a complaint or request a reprint or refund, please complete the Contact Us form immediately and provide us with your reference number, email address and the reason for your complaint. You must please attach photos to help us understand your complaint and take the necessary action.
Print Only / Embroidery Only Service – Where The Client Supplies The Garments
We offer a Print Only / Embroider Only Service. When you purchase this service from us you understand that you send the garments are your own risk. If they are lost in transit we will not be held responsible. You must track the delivery. In addition, we recommend test prints to ensure your products are suitable for the printing technique you require. We keep a keen eye on our quality control processes, but, if you are supplying the products and there are problems with the print or damage to the products due to the printing, that are not related to the printing quality, we will not be held responsible for any cost of garments/products. You accept up to a 15% spoilage rate where we will not be responsible for the costs of damage caused due to printing, embroidery or customisation process. The refundable cost for each garment outside of the 15% will be limited to £5.00.
In addition, with Print Only orders:
When you are supplying the goods for customisation, the stated deadline is our target deadline, we cannot guarantee this until we receive the goods for inspection. In addition, although at quoting stage we assume we can complete the customisation, sometimes factors unknown to us at quoting stage can complicate an order, and mean we may have to cancel and refund. We will always do our best to meet your deadlines and complete your orders to our best ability, but in the case of Print Only orders, you understand that the order may be cancelled upon receipt of the goods, and that the deadline will be confirmed when we physically receive the goods for the specific order.
Privacy Policy
Any contact with AK requires you accept our privacy policy. View our privacy policy page.
Express Orders (within 5 days)
For Express Orders where delivery is required within 5 days you must be aware of the following information. We will do our Best to meet our client’s deadline, but sometimes, on rare occasions, factors beyond our control impact on our ability to fulfil orders. Stock levels, wholesaler dispatch mistakes and delivery problems can arise, which are factors beyond our controls. In the event of such occasions, sometimes we have to make decisions on behalf of our clients to ensure we do our utmost to fulfil the order. This can mean substitution of garment brands and size changes or enhanced delivery services where extra charges may be applied. We will always try to find the time to get approval from our clients for these changes, but as you will be aware this is not always possible. When entering into an Express Order you must accept these conditions and take this into consideration in the event of ultimate problems with orders. We ask that you appreciate the effort we will go to meeting your order when discussing remedy of such rarely occurring scenarios.
Vehicle Graphics Only
Deposit
All orders will need to be paid in full prior to fitting (either; before the vehicle leaves our premises or; at the location where the vehicles graphics will be completed). All materials remain the property of AK until full payment is made. AK retain the right to remove all graphics applied to any vehicle we have worked on due to non-payment. On commercial vehicles our quoted prices do not include full coverage of the roof area unless clearly stated in our quotation. A deposit payment will be taken as confirmation along with an email of your order and agreement and we will enter into a contract with you for the outlined work and order materials to fulfil the work required. This deposit is non-returnable in full due to a material handling fee which will be charged if you decide to cancel. This cancellation fee is currently set at £150.00 and is to cover returns costs, but may be different for certain material applications such as chrome wraps where a cancellation fee will be advised.
Vehicle Delivery/Collection
We cannot be responsible for the delivery or collection of any vehicle. If it is not possible for you or your organisation to deliver and collect any vehicle booked in for branding with us, then we will suggest a suitable transport company who can help. We are not responsible for any vehicle in transit and your contract will be with the transport company directly.
Application Times
Our quoted application times are estimates based on work previously completed, however on occasion these times can be slightly incorrect. This can be due to a number of reasons including late delivery of the vehicle, the supplied working conditions not being suitable, the vehicle not being clean and dry, or the type of material that has been requested or supplied. In these situations we will know fairly early on in the branding process and will advise of the delay and the reason for this. We would advise you to build a buffer day into your schedule to account for this if possible. It is in your interests that we reserve the right to withdraw from your application if these conditions are not correct. It is your responsibility to have the vehicle on site and ready for application when agreed. Delays moving vehicles and waiting for fitting areas to become available will inevitably incur additional charges as fitting times will over run. Our minimum daily charge is 4 hours at a rate of £30 per hour per person plus travel costs @ 45p per mile per vehicle. Any return visit will need to fit in around our other commitments.
Warranty Terms
Any warranty offered is based directly on the vinyl's that are being used and the manufacturer's stated uses and limitations. All production processes and additionally all of our required application conditions must also be met. It is compulsory that if fitting any graphics at your supplied address, you allow us indoor installation of the graphics in a dry and dust free environment as the vehicle panel temperature is between 10 and 23 degrees centigrade. The surface of the vinyl is soft and can mark during application of some finishes, also printed wraps can discolour when stretched around panel edges. We work with flat materials on a 3D surface and these materials have limits. Because of this we may have to trim or fit joins in some areas. We will try to keep all joins and application marks discreet and to a minimum where possible.
Paint Work Conditions
Your vehicle's paintwork may look immaculate, but due to us not knowing the history of any vehicle we apply either vinyl graphics or vehicle wrapping products to, we are unable to offer any guarantees that the underlying paintwork will not be damaged upon removal of the branding/wrap products. If a vehicle has had previous body work or paintwork then there is a small chance that upon removal some may lift, however this is rarely the case. The vinyl adhesive will not affect original paintwork in this way. It is advised that for promotional vehicles, such as taxis in particular, a contingency fund is set aside or built into the rental of each vehicle to cover possible paintwork repair. This is the responsibility of the person or organisation placing an order with us and unless stated otherwise is not our responsibility. We cannot accept responsibility for consequential damages or loss of any kind resulting from the sale, installation, or delivery of our wrap products. Wraps are self-adhesive vinyl that will only adhere well to catalysed vehicle paint and glass. Poor surface paint or clear coats will not allow the vinyl adhesive to stick properly and the adhesive may fail. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to bring in a vehicle that is ready to be wrapped. Extreme curves and deep pockets may exceed the limits of how far the material can stretch. Again, this is not paint, it is a special pressure sensitive vinyl material. Vehicles are not at exact right angle curves. They maintain lines that are not 100% parallel to the ground. Due to this fact, 2D printed graphics will not be at the exact same angle of the vehicle lines once the wrap is installed onto the 3D vehicle surface. We cannot be responsible for damage to paintwork when the vinyl is removed, and would not advise application on a re-sprayed surface, or poor quality/rusted paintwork. Also we do not advise using non-removable vinyl on a vehicles surface. Please note, our experience shows that removal of vinyl designed for vehicle wraps, from good quality, factory original paintwork, will not damage the paintwork. However, it is the duty and responsibility of the owner of the vehicles to ensure suitability of the existing surface before it is wrapped. In the event that AK is asked to remove pre-installed vinyl, installed by a company other than AK, AK will make every effort to remove the existing vinyl, but will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur to the surface of the painted vehicle after removal. This is due to the fact that not all pre-installed vinyl's are designed to be removed. In many cases pre-existing vinyl's are non-removable. If this is the case, AK will wrap over the existing vinyl with vinyl designed for vehicle graphics.
Wrapping Over Existing Graphics
When we wrap over existing vinyl strips or letters, the new wrap is so thin on top that there will be evidence that there is old vinyl underneath the new vinyl. It is standard procedure in our industry to wrap over existing graphics when it cannot be removed using conventional methods. AK will not be held responsible in any way if the client is not happy because the existing graphics were not able to be removed using conventional methods of removal. AK does NOT engage in unconventional methods of vinyl graphics removal because it may damage the surface of the client’s vehicle. Unconventional methods include, cutting or scraping off the vehicle surface or the use of harsh chemicals that may damage the vehicles painted surface. AK only uses vinyl adhesives that are designed for vehicle wraps. The vinyl adhesive that AK uses is designed to be removed. The removal process will not damage the surface of the vehicle because we only use materials designed for vehicle application.
Client's Installation Location Guidelines
If we are installing at the client’s nominated location, suitable conditions must exist. Vehicles need to be indoors, in a clean, dust free temperature controlled environment, with a power supply and good quality lighting. With a minimum of 5 feet working space around the entire vehicle. If, in the opinion of the senior installer on site, conditions are not suitable for a high quality install of the wrap / graphics the vehicle will be required to go to one of our nominated install locations.
Fitting Charges
Fitting charges apply outside of our premises at a rate confirmed on quotation relating to how long we think a job will take us.
Email & Text Message Privacy & Communication Policy
Upon submitting your basic details or a full quote form one of our sales team will contact you with a price or a request for more information so we can assess your printing or embroidery needs. We may also send you emails or text messages in the future about offers, promotions or other company information. We will never share your personal details with a 3rd party. By submitting a quote request you accept and agree to this privacy & communication policy.
Design Credits
The customer agrees to allow AK to place a small credit on printed material exhibition displays, advertisements and/or a link to AK own website on the customer's website. This will usually be in the form of a small logo or line of text placed towards the bottom of the page. The customer also agrees to allow AK to place websites and other designs, along with a link to the client's site on AK own website for demonstration purposes and to use any designs in its own publicity and portfolios.
Rights of Refusal
AK will not include in its designs, any text, images or other data which it deems to be immoral, offensive, obscene or illegal. All advertising material must conform to all standards laid down by all relevant advertising standards authorities. AK also reserves the right to refuse to include submitted material without giving reason. In the situation where any images and/or data that AK does include in all good faith, and subsequently discovers is in contravention to such Terms and Conditions, the customer is obliged to allow AK to remove the contravention without hindrance, or penalty. AK is to be held in no way responsible for any such data being included.
Cancellation
Cancellation of orders may be made initially by telephone contact, or e-mail, however, following this, AK will need formal notification in writing to the company's postal address. The client will then be invoiced for all work completed over and above the non-refundable deposit that will have been made at the time of first ordering. The balance of monies due must be paid within 30 days. Please note: any cancellation which is not formally confirmed in writing and received by AK within 14 days of such instruction being issued, will be liable for the full quoted cost of the project.
